If slaves could be told where to dock while mining, that would Rock!!!
Thanks JeffL!! For your updates. I do want to say that, while I have been critical of you guys not communicating to us effectively and timely about changes, etc., You guys have really turned this around. Atlum is especially included in this. These weekly update, develop notes, and change updates are win-win low cost solutions to your public realations problems. You guys are wining my enthusiasm and trust back. I do appreciate the time you spend on this aspect of the game and I fully believe that you will realize the benefits of continuing down this path. What would be really nice (think client 2) would be a list of bases to dock at depending on the item scopped by a mining slave.
For now being able to select 1 base the mining slave always drops scopped commods off at. If quickly possible improvement of the mining slave targeting mentioned earlier would be a nice change. |

Then do it that way: Target the asteroid that currently have the least salves assigned to, and in case there are several of them that have the lowest number of slaves assigned, use distance as a second criterion. So if u have 3 asteroids, and 10 slaves: 1st slave targets roid 1 2nd slave choses between roid 2 and 3, the closest => roid 2 3rd slave chose roid 3 Now all roids have the same number of slaves assigned (1) 4th slave goes to closest roid (3 for instance) 5th slave goes to closest among 1and 2 (1 for instance) 6th goes to roid 2 Now all roids have the same number of slaves assigned (2) etc... (would solve the Bio problem) If u have 30 roids, and 10 slaves: The 1st slave will go to the closest asteroid. The second slave will chose among the 29 other asteroids with 0 slaves assigned, and among them the closest to him. The third wil go the the closest of the 28 remaining salves, etc... (would be way better than current algorithm) |

Also there is a prob with ships turning into zebus on a playerbase blowing up, its very very irritating.
